Here we are back reviewing laptops again after a very long time. Our selection for this review is HP Pavilion g6-1300 Notebook PC series. The reason to choose this laptop for review is the no. of emails we are receiving from our reader after we told them we are back reviewing laptops again. One more reason is that we are hearing a lot mixed response from the users of this product. So we thought why don't we just clarify everyone's queries. Of course, you would want to hear some feedback about a product before spending your valuable money on it. Anyway, let's get started with this laptop. The HP Pavilion g6-1300 Notebook comes with Intel Core-i3 processor, 500 GB Hard Drive and 2 GB RAM. It has Windows7 Home Basic already installed which is a plus point. The another feature that worth mention, considering the price, is the 1 GB Graphics Card for better graphics experience. It also has 15.6" wide screen display, Altec Lansing Speaker Kensington, MicroSaver lock slot and Notebook keyword with home roll keys. This laptop seems to be the best fit for people who don't do all their heavy work using their notebook and have an alternative for those heavy tasks. We will discuss more about why we are saying this, but before that let's get to the specifications of this laptop.

System Features : First let's get to the system features of this laptop. This notebook is packed with Intel Core-i3, 2.3 GHz processor and Intel HM65 Express Chipset. You get Windows 7 Home Basic already installed for no extra cost.

Memory : My first words will go with I am not satisfied with the standard memory provided in this laptop. They could have added at least 1 more GB to the 2 GB of already installed RAM. Anyway that's my personal opinion, you can expand it up to 8 GB if you wish. There are 2 user accessible slots to access the memory.

Storage : Here they go fare with the users by providing 500 GB of storage space, which should be enough for the medium laptop users. One more thing in this category is the SuperMulti DVD±R/RW optical drive.

Graphics : The one thing which I like most in HP Pavilion g6-1300 Notebook is the 1 GB graphics card. We don't usually get to see a laptop with 1 GB graphics card in this price range. It has a 15.6" HD display for the better graphic performance. You would like these 2 features combined if you like to watch movies on your laptop.

Expansion Features : I don't think there is much to talk in this category. Since, the expansion features of this laptop are limited to what is required to run this notebook. There are a total of 8 slots and 1 port in this product.

Media Devices - Media devices of this laptop are ok considering the price. There is a VGA and Altec Lansing Speakers to make your video-chatting and music listening a more better experience.

Input Devices - The HP Pavilion g6-1300 laptop has a generally used notebook keyboard with home roll keys included and a TouchPad with on-off button.
